We have produced the film titled “KANNAN ORU KAI KUZHANDHAI” starring SIVAKUMAR, SUMITHRA and others directed by VENKATESH with music by ILAYARAJA. It was a prestigious project for us.
 

The film “ROSAPPU RAVIKKAIKAARI” was produced by us and directed by DEVARAJ MOHAN and it created a sensation at the box office. The movie was also remade and dubbed in other Indian languages. This film became an inspiration for us to make films that are different from the regular pattern. The film had also participated in the Moscow Film Festival. It ran for 175 days successfully in theatres. The songs of this movie were sensational hits.

Technology is growing at a rapid pace and we at Vivekananda Pictures adapt to such new technologies at their earlier stages. For example, the DOLBY STEREO was first adopted for the film “VANDICHAKKARAM” starring SIVAKUMAR, SARITHA and others with music by SHANKAR GANESH. Directed by K.VIJAYAN, “VANDICHAKKARAM” ran for 150 days and received award from the Government of Tamil Nadu.

It was a prestigious, expensive and highly successful project that had completed 150 days run at the Box office. The film was a huge sensation then.
